The Biden administration promised this week to ban “conversion therapy” for minors who claim they are members of the opposite sex.
The push is wrapped up in the Biden administration’s attempt to repress religious liberty, and attempts to codify the claim that people can select which sex they wish to be.

I predict that this angry insane decrepit old fool will soon have parents arrested who refuse to consent to their children’s sex-”change” surgery or who won’t use the “preferred” pronouns.
And the state will take the kids away from the parents.

People are always saying, “Follow the money!” I think many don’t understand faith. Perhaps Americans are so jaded these days, they no longer understand how others have faith in things not seen, even to the point of self sacrifice. That applies to faith in good things, things that are true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. It also applies to evil (and I dare say many who promote evil have convinced themselves they are actually practicing it for good).
I think many on the left are true believers. Regarding transgenderism, I think most think they are truly helping children. Otherwise, how do you explain those who support sex changes who have no monetary motive?
I divide America into thirds. One third are true believers who think the only way to help someone with gender dysphoria is to transition them. Another third don’t agree but remain quiet or affirm for various reasons: don’t care, afraid of being ostracized, gives them an ego boost, etc.. The final third are adamantly opposed but have little or no way to be heard. We are driven from the public sphere by the social media gatekeepers.
