That’s not a sense of humor. That is - at best - a very ill-advised statement.
There are things we talk about that are supposed to be sacred that we don’t “joke” about - certainly not in this manner.
That wasn't what He was there for. Just the opposite.
You are ettitled to,your opinion. I don’t share your opinion in this particular matter. I think it,is understood that she knows perfectly well Jesus didn’t need guns, and simp,y made a joke. Had she suggested thstnhe couldn’t have saved himself unless he had guns, then that is mockery of God and his power.
Well, I believe reverence is an important thing on certain matters and they are not to be trivialized - nor politicized - by making these kinds of remarks.
A bigger lesson here is that the Rule of Law was followed. The crucifixion was not a lynching.
What is supposedly one of humanity’s honest creations. Some even call the rule of law “sacred.”
