Bishop Vigano is a very smart guy and - seriously - he’s a skilled politician, which is a great quality for a cleric to have these days, not being sarcastic. Too bad he doesn’t have more authority in the church.
Not sure if all this creepy stuff can be laid squarely on the Freemasons’ doorstep, however.
Catholics have a problem saying the word “Communist.” This is troublesome. The Freemasons did not cause the catholic church to become corrupt - the RC church needs to own its corruption and recognize its source. He pulls in all these different influences that have brought Italy to the state it’s presently in - clearly, no one has been at the wheel for Italy over many centuries. These guys are in a lot of trouble. The USA is a great place, isn’t it? In large part because we don’t have a state religion.
In offering a solution, Bishop Vigano mentions putting the greater good before personal gain several times and barely mentions communism except that it has been a bad influence on Italy.
We probably COULD save the world with simple faith, honesty, and humility, but that solution would involve many, many deaths of good people. (And after it’s all over and the dust settles, there would still be Freemasonry.)

Well and truly said. On the other hand, there are questions about who’s controlling who, are they allies, or are they enemies each hell bent on consolidating their power over the planet. Meanwhile there’s no doubt that both Russia and China are also busy vying for the same dominance.

Vigano is a smart guy. And he’s been doing the Church and the world a great service by speaking out. But it looks like he’s starting to make the same mistake Sen. Joe McCarthy made back in the 1950s.
McCarthy was 100% correct about communist subversion in the United States. But then he went overboard. Some guy buys a socialist newspaper, and McCarthy accuses him of conspiring to overthrow the country. That sort of thing. This wrecked McCarthy‘s credibility. That was a great loss to the country.
Don’t go down that same road, Bishop Vigano. Don’t see hidden conspiracies around every corner. Focus.

I read the entire article, as whiney and unknowledgeable as it is, and I can’t find one mention of Freemasonry in it.
The problem between the Catholic church and the masons is twofold:
1. Masons don’t accept any particular religion as the status quo. Masons accept all religions base on their religious value and not cultism.
2. Because a lodge, at the lowest level of organized masonry, believes in almost all religions to my knowledge, it places the Catholic church into a competitive scenario they don’t want and have fought to push against for a few 1000 years. They feel they are the dominant religion for the world and wish to stay that way.
This is why in early years of their church, in Rome, they sacrificed Christians along with other religions and used the Decian edict to force their religion on others. So as they don’t want any other religion to stand equal or above theirs, they attack people even without an intelligent cause and violate the US spirit of freedom concerning religion.
