In all honesty, I have no idea how one can claim that Taiwan needs to be separated from China but Donetsk should stay in Ukraine, given that the situations are identical, except there are more Chinese loyalists in Taiwan than whose who like Kiev in East Ukraine.

No, we aren't. Russia has never know Democracy and have only experience in Autocracies, brutality, and internal and occasionally external terror.

I served with Russians back when they called themselves Soviets and they were not ashamed at all of their large and small brutalities - they even seemed proud of them. KAL 007? "they were spying".
