Pity Pence won. Trump’s biggest ever mistake was appointing Pence “Covid czar” (because Trump thought it would depoliticize the whole thing) and then Pence went on and made the corrupt, inecpt Fauci defacto President of the US and Master of the Universe.
I never liked Pence from the very beginning. People here liked him because he’s a squeaky-clean Evangelical, but I always thought he was a smiling, smarmy stealth-power-hungry creep.

Not true. Read Trump’s Vaccine EO from September 2019. He appointed his pandemic team then. He chose Collins, who stated he did not want to be the public face (but still the boss) and appointed that job to Fauci.
I'm sure it's totally normal for the President's daughter to be detailing that disagreement to Congress on national television :-)
