We are FREE Republic, so posting stories from a 90% discredited source (on Ukraine) is fine.

Obviously we don’t have to believe any of it.

All of us die eventually.

When Putin dies someone more nationalistic and fanatical will probably take his place.

“The newspaper lists reasons why the transfer is slower than Ukraine would like:
1) - Western reluctance to deplete its arsenals
2) - Inability to quickly produce additional weapons
3) - Difficult logistics
4) - Fears of sensitive technology falling into Russian hands
5) - the need to train Ukrainians in handling new types of weapons
6) - and the danger of escalation if there are strikes against Russia.”

Thanks Cathi, I figured if I scrolled down, I would stumble back to reality.

I added numbering to the above.

1) - It costs money to store weapons that will never be needed (see Francis Fukuyama, who wrote the legendary tome: “The End of History” where he implied that there will never be a war between superpowers, as the Neocon/Globalist vision for the world would, of course, be accepted without objection).

2) - Why keep production lines open, if the weapons are no longer needed, due to The End of History. So figure 2 or 3 years to round up the retirees and have them explain to us how their weapons worked, and then finding companies who aren’t into Investment Banking, to actually build military hardware.

3) - 500+ miles to the front lines. But the weapons are good to terrorize Russia-supporting civilians, and have thus put to that use.

4) - That’s a done deal. The Russians have HUNDREDS of copies of our weapons from which to design and neutralize Western weapons, so the next war will go much smoother for them.

5) - Probably would have been a good idea to have some instruction manuals in Ukrainian, rather than forcing them to rely on Google Translate (which, I admit, isn’t bad).

6) - 5 World Leaders showed up in Kiev today and I’m sure returned home safely. Start bombing Russian civilians, and there may be new elections in those countries.

What about this don't you understand?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/06/10/ukraine-ammunition-donbas-russia/

Around 200 Ukrainian soldiers are now being killed every day, up from 100 late last month, an aide to President Volodymyr Zelensky told the BBC on Friday — meaning that as many as 1,000 Ukrainians are being taken out of the fight every day, including those who are injured.

Didn’t the USA have such people? Benedict Arnold was one of them.
Vladimir Putin isn't Russia.. Or do you think that anticommunists, who defected from the USSR were traitors rather than counter-revolutionaries?

We should support these anti-communist heroes, who oppose the KGB regime and its allies in Red China and Iran. Too many Freepers Larp as anticommunists and anti-PRC, but support its allies and interests

Just look at all the Putin lovers here. Why? Because he is “based”, anti-homo and so on. Reality is, Putin is just the latest in a long line of land and resources grabbing tyrants. A bush league Hitler, yet the nuts here keep calling the Ukrainians Nazis.

I've seen this movie before. It's called The Beast of War (1988).
