A Cuban man charged in a $4.2 million Medicare fraud scheme is being held as a flight risk after officials said he tried to flee the U.S. on a Jet Ski.
Court records show that a federal judge in Miami ordered 54-year-old Ernesto Cruz Graveran to be detained pending trial Monday.

could go 75-100 miles... but 91 miles is from Key West... dunno how far from Miami. Bahamas would be closer?

In general, a jet ski can go somewhere from 75-150 miles on a tank of gas. Cuba is 90 miles from Key West.

The Bahamas are roughly 50 miles from where he took off on a JET SKI, Cuba is roughly 90 miles away?
Must not take much intelligence to defraud Medicare out of money.
