Adam Laxalt, a former Nevada attorney general, won the state’s Republican primary for U.S. Senate on Tuesday.
Laxalt’s win sets up a fierce showdown with incumbent Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto (D) in November.
The high-stakes race is expected to play a tremendous impact on the outlook of the legislative body after the midterm elections.

IIRC, Masto was Dirty Harry Reid’s personal pick for that job.
I live in N Nevada.
This Primary was one of the dirtiest I have ever seen.
We were deluged every day with flyers from candidates.
NOT the usual: “I will do this or I will do that”...
They were ATTACK flyers & every candidate was doing it.
Really NASTY.
I almost didn’t vote at all, but did in the end.
I am very tired of having NO representation on Congress.
Bur Adam needs to stop leaning on name recognition and develop a conservative platform.
Or he can just do what Trump tells him to do. Just vote him in there.
Who will win in the general elction? This GOP Laxalt or a dimocrat?
On to November!
clark county (vegas) fraud will be massive.
You couldn’t pay me to visit Vegas again.
That is happening in Arizona now as well.
