My multiple awards and sales put me in the top 1% of all American Express employees for eight consistent years. I loved the company and "bled the AmEx blue." I even considered getting a tattoo of the famous AmEx Centurion. Until the company turned on me for not putting the company’s DEI policies above American Express’s credit-worthy standards.
My journey into purgatory began with a request by a potential client for a large credit line. I responded to this inquiry by applying all the company’s standard credit checks. The client refused to comply, and in the process very rudely harassed me and my Black male colleague whom I assigned to directly service her. Still, I did not decline her request. Rather I sent it up the chain for further review.
Fatefully for me, the potential client was a Black woman who viewed my actions as emblematic of a narrative of racism against her. Thus, she complained to corporate that American Express might be exhibiting "systematic racism."

After finally firing me, American Express destroyed my credit line when I refused to sign a Release of Claims document promising I would keep my mouth shut about this whole business. I refused my "payoff" (severance package tied to the Release of Claims being signed) to be quiet. As a result, on the very next day, American Express canceled all of my credit accounts. They even put me and every LLC associated with me on a credit "Match list," effectively a blacklist for all credit card processors.

And, well, now that the SEC regs have been "updated" by the Pedo Joe Regime, the government is involved as well.

Fascism is like that. The German people were powerless to stop it once it got wheels back in 1928. Like we see now, too many people remain silent and just go along to get along.

When this was done at my job years ago I just reduced my hours to the bare minimum; they need workers to do the real work, and it didn’t help that the gender tokens worked the bare minimum as well - so nobody could say anything. I didn’t “quiet quit” (show up doing little work), I just carefully monitored the amount of time the job consumed - and the rest was play time (or sleep time). No email or phone contact outside of the 9-5 timeframe, and days off are truly DAYS OFF.
If they want to lower the bar, I can deal with it; I’m no help to the tokens in over their heads either.
All part of the Democrats’ war on merit and competency.
It’s a “reign of terror”. They’ll eventually kill themselves. Even Bernie Sanders had to put out an order to stop hiring activists. But once you let that poison in it just eats out the body from the inside.
All this can be traced back to the old AT&T and its signing of the Consent Decree with the Nixon DoJ in 1973. This agreement was the price AT&T paid to get out from under an FCC suit. Unfortunately for the nation, this was just the camel’s nose.

You're damn' right they did. Straight out of college with a Computer Programming degree, I took Sears' two day long computer programming aptitude test, then went through another two full days of interviews.
Scored 94 on the aptitude test and sailed through the personal interviews.
I was turned down, even though at the time I worked for Sears in their Central Call Taking Center in Melrose Park, IL as a call center supervisor (while putting myself through college.)
When my manager, who manged the entire Sears Service Center on N. George St. in Melrose Park learned I was turned down, he began asking why. The response I received: Sears was looking to fill their minority quota.
So I wasted four days of aptitude testing and personal interviews, only to be turned down because I was the wrong color.
I quit Sears that day, cut up my credit card and never ever stepped foot in a Sears store ever again.
Different companies are focused on different diversity. Mine is still women > minority, especially for global stats
