Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams (D) Sunday on MSNBC’s “Symone” invited President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to join her on the campaign trail.
Host Symone Sanders said, “Can we expect to see the president and vice president join you on the trail closer to November?”
Abrams said, “We invite anyone who wants to see Georgia move forward to come here, and that means President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. But what we’re talking about are the needs of the state of Georgia.
She continued, “Just today, we announced that we intend to raced teacher pay. The base pay starts at $50,000 by 2026. This means that Georgia will finally be in the top ten of states in terms of pay. Right now, we are behind of Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. We are below Mississippi, who just raised their pay to $41,500. Georgia is only at $39,092, and that’s after a pay raise because Republicans have actually shorted Georgia teachers by thousands of dollars of the last 20 years. I intend to make certain that Georgia pays our teachers to keep them in the classroom. We know across this country that teachers are leaving in droves. That 55% of teachers are thinking of leaving classrooms. In Georgia, it is 31%. They need pay, and we need to deliver it.”
Sanders said, “So the president, vice president are welcome to come, but you are focused on Georgia, is when I’m hearing.”

The only thing she is going to win, is a free big mac.
Well that should work...
“The headline is misleading and it was a push question. What else could she say when that question was asked?”
For her own good she should have said: “I denounce Joe Biden in the strongest possible terms.”
Unless he can arrange a state funeral for himself, he is about to be thrown over like Jonah; or more recently LBJ.
Sure, why not? Should be the closest thing to the kiss of death for Stacey’s campaign as we could hope for.
This is very good news.
Let’s see….I’m a bit more of a pragmatist, skeptic, or whatever.
Last years much ballyhooed voting law here in Georgia. The one that caused MLB to love the All-Star Game. Have you ever wondered why she wasn’t raising as much he’ll as everyone else? No.
Could it be because Kemp and the rest of the morons that make up the Georgia government codified two things that allowed CornPop, Warnock and Ossoff to get elected: Mail In Voting and Drop Boxes are now Georgia Law.
She didn’t lose by all that much in 2018.
Kemp and his cronies have been rolling out the red carpet for every liberal industry and company to move to Georgia, for the last four years, namely the movie industry. Gee, who do those folks vote for?
Add to that all the Democrats and liberals flooding the state from
the northeast and west coast.
So, yeah, I’m thinking she has a real good chance to win more than just a Big Mac
If she wins/steals the election this November, she will probably consider herself the frontrunner for the 2024 Presidential nomination given Biden’s and Harris’ unpopularity. Of course the DNC will see her as toxic and do whatever is necessary to deny her the nomination (just like they did to Bernie in 2020). But she may not have much appeal for Democrats outside Georgia. The DNC may be figuring on Buttigieg in 2024.
Kemp will deservedly lose either way.
Not in a red flood year.
The feral Abrams invites the idiot 10% big g u y loser!..and his overlord commie f k scumbag OBAMMIE!!!!!!!!!
A bore, a whore, and a boar, walk into a bar....
Only collective group that Biden is not underwater with is blacks and they are going to be voting for big Stacy in droves anyway. Biden brings nothing to the table other than cancer with the rest of the state. Have at it big Stace.
Also, college-educated white women support Biden strongly.
2020 was a Red flood year.
President Trump got millions more votes than he did in 2016
I’m not as confident as others. Hope I’m wrong.
On a side note, Kemp isn’t any better than she is. Anyone who knows what’s going on in Georgia knows.
