Why don’t they just do Trump-DeSantis 2024 and if they win, give DeSantis some real power instead of just maintaining the VP position as largely ceremonial? Then you have DeSantis in 2028 and 2032.

That’s not a terrible idea, but let’s face it: Trump doesn’t share power. And I don’t blame him for that; it creates weakness.
