Russia likely to capture Ukraine’s Luhansk region within weeks: US official

Russian forces could be just weeks away from seizing control of the key Luhansk region in eastern Ukraine — as Ukrainian officials continued to appeal for more heavy weapons and ammunition from the West.

An unnamed senior US defense official told The Washington Post that the cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, which have seen some of the fiercest battles in recent weeks, could fall to Russia in the coming days.

Russia has been making steady gains in the strategically important Donbas region — comprised of Luhanks and Donetsk — by pounding the area with heavy artillery day after day and inflicting heavy casualties on the outnumbered and outgunned Ukrainian soldiers.

What about the 3 Russian Speaking oblasts that were disenfranchised by the violent Revolution that overthrew their Democratically Elected President? Do you think their secession in 2014, and subsequent 8 year war of independence, had anything to do with this conflict?

There’s already a split among the elites, with the realists on the Council of Foreign Relations warning that continuing this war presages dire consequences for both Europe and the US. Biden’s team doesn’t want to give in for political and other purposes, but Europe isn’t onboard with this any longer, they are looking at an outright economic depression in 6 months if this continues. Biden wants to keep it going until after the midterms but that appears unlikely in my opinion. Reality will set in long before then.

Biden's Kinsey gaffes are notable, from “ the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics” and other comments, I think he sometimes speaks the truth, but that he should not reveal it.

His “minor incursion” comment to Russia gave Russia the go ahead. Everything since them has been propaganda to camouflage the biggest multi-billion dollar grift in history. Deep state trolls like MF are just used to continue the scam.

Ukraine fought well, but it needs to find a way out before they burn enough resources that they get devoured by all the other neighboring countries.

If I was in Lithuania (and I know folks that are), I would be getting out ASAP. The Duma has stated they view Lithuania as a rebellious province, and are going to start planning for that war.
