The DA’s office apparently did not record the specific county jail sentences for many cases in its data dashboard. For the convictions where the DA provided specific county jail sentencing information, roughly half of the sentences agreed to were eight days or less, and some were as low as one or two days. The DA’s data, along with court records and information from DataSF, tell a chilling tale of gang members, drug dealers, and multiple violent repeat offenders sometimes serving just a short time in county jail, released on probation, or sent to diversion programs.

Well, he was just voted out by a huge margin - 60% to 40% - and this is in über-lefty San Francisco.
Bad news is the lefty mayor now gets to appoint his replacement. Ditto for the three lefty school board members that were also ousted.
People that pay millions upon millions for homes there are sick and tired of the very policies that THEY voted for being implemented - local government allowing free reign to the homeless, poop in their streets, smash ‘n grab robberies of their stores with no arrests, assaults, CVS, Walgreens and Target closing stores due to thefts and rampant car break-ins.
Last time I checked there were a total of four concealed-carry permits issued by the City & County of San Francisco.

Boudin was born in New York City to Jewish parents. His parents, Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, were Weather Underground members.
When Boudin was 14 months old, both were arrested and convicted of murder for their role as getaway car drivers in the 1981 Brink’s robbery in Rockland County, New York. His mother was sentenced to 20 years to life and his father to 75 years to life for the felony murders of two police officers and a security guard.
After his parents were incarcerated, Boudin was raised in Hyde Park, Chicago by adoptive parents Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, who, like his parents, had been members of the Weather Underground.
