House Select Committee Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS) said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that he would welcome former President Donald Trump to testify before the panel investigating the January 6 riot at the Capitol.
Thompson said, “What we have to do is make sure at that time public understands that people did not just leave the eclipse and walk to the Capitol. The Proud Boys and others had already assembled at the Peace Circle, surveilling the Capitol and making sure that once they wanted to breach it, they went to the most vulnerable site. They went to an area that was the least guarded. They made sure that individuals penetrated it in a certain area, and when reinforcements went in, they had reinforcements. So it was a planned effort. You can see from the video. We wanted to prove that this wasn’t something that just happened. It wasn’t a normal congressional tour and wasn’t traditional speech. This was a riot. This was an insurrection that was planned and orchestrated by Donald Trump.”

The JOKE 6 “Committee” is an unlawful “committee”. It has a 100% representation of congressmen who voted to impeach President Trump. It is a JOKE! A bad joke of a so called committee. There is no need for President Trump to waste his time before a group of people who won’t even release the video of the day. It is a staged media event nothing more.
Trump’s testimony before the committee would only give them credibility. This committee was setup by Pelosi to protect her from being responsible for J6. She was offered, at least twice, the opportunity to have extra support for the Capitol police. The Capitol police voluntarily opened the doors for most of the rioters. Bennie Thompson is as senile as Biden making this all a joke. Its all on tape.
How about letting Trump put representation on the panel? Ya, I didn’t think so. The star chamber can not allow any opposition representation, they know their BS would be exposed in the first 5 minutes.

They actually are peddling that Trump somehow directed the Proud Boys to attack the Capitol!
I watched the hearing. At the presidential debate in September, the reporter demanded that Trump day something to the PB’s. Trump said who? The Proud Boys? Then he said “Ok, Proud Boys, stand back and stand by”.
The committee “documentary”then absurdly depicted that the PB took that as a direction for everything they did for the next 3 months!
Absolutely ridiculous.

Bennie Thompson is the committee’s Uncle Tom but try telling that to Cheney and Kinzinger, both of whom are probably racists due to their having double standards.
Bennie Thompson represents a gerrymandered district in Mississippi that was formulated to exclude as many whites as possible. The members that represent his district in Mississippi’s house and senate are reprehensible and act like idiots when the Mississippi legislature is in session. If they can’t link every bill and mention to racism, it isn’t mentioned.
Bennie Thompson deserves nothing less that to rot in prison the rest of his life - along with everyone else on the sham 1/6 committee. He is not worthy of further attention.
