Russian Gas Ban Would Be 'disastrous' For European Union's Economy, Warns Hungary's PM

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who catalysed Budapest’s near-total exemption from the EU's Russian oil embargo on Thursday, opposed a similar gas ban, warning that such a move would “destroy EU’s economy.”

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó said in an interview with newspaper El Pais that the Hungarian-Ukrainian border will not be a place for deliveries of weapons from Europe to Kyiv.

The Energiewende pushed by Merkel and the Greens in Germany has done nothing to mitigate the imagined CO2 and warming crises, but much to exacerbate the price rises to consumers, whether the individual or productive business.

The "mental" infection which is "green" believes that reality itself can be changed, if only the average Joe can be convinced to become ever more under the fist of government which would stifle individual decisions in favor of the "green" collective. It is ending as do all failing ideas, and as it withers, its proponents will rage out as reality breaks the "green" idea infection.

Like the last battle for Berlin so may decades ago, the new and coming battle for Brussels' EU will be as destructive, merely in a different way. So does it seem to me.
