“Which means Nato is uniting and arming itself against Russia.”

Doesn’t sound like NATO’s largest European military is doing that, since Turkey has been BUYING weapons from Russia and WILL NOT permit anymore expansion of NATO.

Too bad the Neocons can’t kick Turkey out!!!

And the “largest European military” —

Turkiye has the largest number of soldiers yes but that doesn’t translte into military strength

https://www.globalfirepower.com/countries-listing.php

Turkey ranks #13 — below France (#7), the UK (#8) and even Italy (#11)

Turkey should be kicked out of NATO.

Alternatively, form a new alliance called NATO North, comprised of every NATO country except for Turkey.

Russia has bought weapons from Russia to a limited extent and also from other countries. They also make and export weapons which has reduced their arms imports from 70% of the total to 30%. The air defense purchases were more about pressuring the US to sell them what they wanted, which didn’t work.

Turkey will allow NATO expansion once they get some of what they want. Which is a reduction in support for Turkey’s enemies in Syria, a crackdown on opposition fundraising in Sweden, and advanced weaponry sales that the USA blocked (F35, air defense, etc).
