Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) — a member of the January 6 Committee investigating the riot at the Capitol last year — said after the Los Angeles riots in May 1992 that he hoped then-President George H. W. Bush did not “encourage” any type of “backlash against the rioting” which occurred.
Following the infamous Los Angeles riots, which broke out in the city after police officers were acquitted of beating black motorist Rodney King, now-congressman Raskin said that he would have hoped President Bush did not “anticipate or encourage a backlash against the rioting.”

He is the son of Marcus Raskin, a former advisor to JFK who turned against his patron’s war in Vietnam, founded the bolshevik Institute for Policy Studies and did his best to undercut the US military effort in VN. His wife was so far left the senile fool occupying the White House was forced to withdraw her nomination to the Federal Reserve Bd. of Governors bc he couldn’t get her though the Senate due to her continual lying. The Raskins are no good.
Rioters, looters, arsonists etc should be shot on sight.
In a virtual sea of despicable Democrats, there are very few more despicable than Jamie Raskin.
