Desantis is smart enough to know how disastrous Trump is at defending our liberties. Desantis has been fighting Trump’s man Fauci for a couple of years - while Trump was still defending Fauci and urging “boosters” on all of us. Because Desantis has first-hand experience with Trump’s failure to protect freedom, I am pretty confident Desantis will see it has his duty to run in 2024, even if Trump also announces
All Desantis has to say, on the debate stage is, “You gave us Fauci. You gave us Wray. You gave us Mattis. You gave us Bolton. You gave us Barr” Desantis will destroy Trump in the primaries, because Republican voters hate all of those people.
I love Trump’s heart and I voted for him twice. But he’s not a competent defender of my freedoms and my families’ freedoms. He hires enemies, not allies. Time to move on.
Also, don’t forget that when Epstein killed himself, he was in federal custody - meaning he was in Barr’s custody. Barr is ultimately responsible for the failure to secure this top-priority prisoner.
Ironically, when I pointed out that fact on Freerepublic, back when Epstein died, Freepers denounced me and came to Barr’s defense. That was back when we still supposed to respect Barr because he was Trump’s appointee.
DeSantis was one of the many @ssholes across the U.S. -- Democrat and Republican alike -- who issued shutdown orders for businesses and other institutions in his state during COVID.
And stop with the prognostications about the 2024 primaries. DeSantis has already said he will not run against Trump. He's not a fool. He knows he would lose.
