He was referring only to Hitler’s ability to wow a crowd. A stupid thing to say, but hardly a recommendation of Hitler’s policies. He should have had the sense to not mention Hitler at all.

Actually we could use a few more good orators. We have too many McConnells and McCarthys who remain silent in the face of RAT crimes. Some guy was just caught trying to kill Kavanaugh yet Mitch and Kevin can’t be concerned.

Paladino is a good guy. Very Trump-like. But, being so, everything he says will be used to make him toxic. He ran against Andrew Cuomo a few years ago. He was kicked off the Buffalo School Board for retweeting an 'unflattering' cartoon of Michelle Obama. (Well, actually, it was for disclosing details of closed door negotiations with the Teachers union - details which exposed corruption).

Yeah, he is a bit of a loose cannon. I would vote for him, but that is me.

Hardly a condemnation either. He said Hitler was the kind of leader we need. There was no 'except for that whole holocaust thing' or anything like that. There was no qualifier. It was an incredibly stupid position to take.
