I don’t have one - - yet — but after reading this would really like one - as a small, senior citizen female. My long gun are a bit unwieldy so this sounds like a perfect fit for me.
I’m also a senior female who doesn’t have a lot of hand strength, so I have trouble racking our two 9mm handguns. I recently bought a Sig Sauer p365. It’s a great gun but again racking is difficult. This is because the little button you have to push up with your thumb while holding the gun correctly with the right hand and racking with the left is very stiff. I have given thought to buying a short shotgun.
AR-15 Is a great weapon for smaller people. They are very light without all the unneeded accessories. There is virtually no recoil.
Plus they can shoot 50 glocks per second with high capacity 1000 magazine clips.

Me, too. I want one being 125 pounds and very shortened not strong by age and disease Five lbs sounds great.
Thank you for a good and informative post.
It’s a good time to buy an AR The price has dropped around here (SC) to pre Covid prices. The AR is a dirty rifle and needs cleaning often. It’s pretty easy to clean, however, you might want someone to help you reassemble the bolt group and how to slide it back into the receiver a few times. It’s a little tricky.
