You do realize most our pharmaceuticals come from China. Double fix, it’ll be easy for people dying from lack of meds to swear off Indian imports.

They’re saying $30 a barrel, so a bit less. Russia still gets around $90, far more than a year ago.
Correct. India has surplus oil refining capacity in place.

Like I keep saying, to gauge how far the West has fallen, Jimmy Carter, the second worse president in modern times did two things in response to the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan:
1. Drill, baby, Drill - Which drove down the price of oil to next to nothing in the early 1980s.
2. Started a massive military buildup - even larger than what Reagan ultimately did.
The Soviets got that message, and the US economy took off, thanks to the cheap oil.
The increased prices of essentials has already destroyed consumers. There’s little to no discretionary income. Our economy based on 70% consumption is toast

Just keep accepting the status quo until China moves on Taiwan or other nations as Russia has with Ukraine.

Second, removing the hostile rules, regulations and taxes from our own manufacturing is not a “trade war”.
