Catholics/some other large church like LDS. Fake GOP. Globalists who dump tons of money into screwy fringe groups who make our side look bad; I’ll bet you just thought of at least one if not more. Pick one of these three or any combination.

If someone says s/he is a “one-issue conservative” that’s a signal to the Left that they’ll be returning to rendezvous at some point. “I’m here for one issue and that’s it.”

I stopped visiting the FR website in 2016 because the “*sigh* I’m afraid I just can’t vote for Donald Trump, sorry! *sigh*” folks seemed to be posting a WHOLE LOT. I was like “Wow, has this site ever taken the wrong pill” - seeing as it would have resulted in a win for Hilldog if anyone had taken it all seriously. (Then the “pandemic” would have started IMMEDIATELY! Along with shortages, high gas prices, MORE (instead of less) rioting, and so on!)

Who will this Desantis-pimping get a win for? Hm. Let me think......

The INSTANT I donated to M R0mney’s campaign in 2012, I started getting rolled by the Right. Not the Left: the so-called Right. Not naming names because, haha, a lot of them are IN MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT NOW. AND SO YOU CAN’T CRITICIZE THEM OR THEY’LL TROLL YOU SOME MORE. And you’ll have ethnic teens calling you out, for example, when you are gassing up your vehicle somewhere in the boonies. And your gun is in the trunk of the car.

And now, for the latest mythical match-up breaking news, FOX can now project that Ronald Reagan has won the key battleground state of Arizona over Donald Trump!

You’re right. This comes across as the creepy “Never Trumpers” or democrat backed Soros scammers.

“The other thing about Trump that gives me pause. He was the victim of fraud in 2020...”

As far as anyone needs to read your nonsense. Trump was the victim of fraud in 2020? The whole damn country was the victim of a monstrous fraud, a coup, and you seem willing to let it go. Do you enjoy bending over that much?

Instead he got rolled by Washington.

Which makes his re election even mor imperative. Other wise it is back the GOP's "managed decline" of America.

Donor class. Otherwise Pence would be under 5%.

Problem we have is that in order to win an election, we need Florida. We need DeSantis there until there is a suitable winner to replace him.

The GOP 2024 will have many RINO conservative pretenders for POTUS candidates.

If not Trump or DeSantis, then who?

You're right on this central_va...

We don't need Never Trumpers' playing us for fools. DeSantis said he would NOT run against Trump.

I take DeSantis at his word.

Curious how all this pro-DeSantis/anti-Trump propaganda suddenly appears from shills on the same week Pelosi and Cheney’s kangaroo circus trial starts the main festivities.

Good point. Trump has already been “vetted” so to speak. Who knows how DeSantis would handle a 24/365 Trump-style onslaught from the media. I’ll stick with the more known commodity in Trump unless he decides not to run.

“Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in third, receiving 28.73% of the vote... Meanwhile, former Vice President Mike Pence received votes from only 14.36% of respondents, polling lower than Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.”

NFN, but neither Cruz (non-U.S. citizen father at the time of his his birth) nor Trump Jr. (non-U.S. Citizen mother at the time of his birth) is a Constitutional NBC.

“Trump knows Washington, DC, can handle the ‘big picture’ stuff,”

I love Trump and might have been the first FReeper on the Trump Train in 2015. But he doesn’t “know Washington, DC”, never has, and maybe never will.

It’s a snake pit he never knew was so evil. Not his fault; he was used to dealing with more honorable people like union bosses and mafia goodfellows.

He has a better clue now, but is it enough? I don’t know. It’ll be interesting to find out how things shake out over the next six months.

I love Trump. I hate many of the swampsters he hired. We need a president who is good at hiring good, MAGA-supporting people. Trump has shown he doesn’t have that skill set

I’m for Desantis-Trump in 2024. Let the competent Desantis, as president, do the hiring and governing. Let Trump, as VP, lead rallies and spend time on twitter firing up the base.

I’m sure they will try, but DeSantis doesn’t give them the ammunition that Trump does, and nobody, nobody energizes the left like Trump.

Some want a “nicer” Trump, which DeSantis satisfies to some in the GOP.

Would DeSantis be willing to be a Trump V.P., then Trump support DeSantis for POTUS in 2028? THAT I think could win.

May as well stick with Trump.

With some pretty f'd up logic on your part you did manage to reach the best conclusion!

Trump is the only Republican who has the election skills to win a national election - but only in the Electoral College.

No Republican candidate will be able to get a majority or plurality of the popular vote in 2024 - or for many decades after that.

100% of registered Democrats will vote for the Democrat presidential nominee - no matter how bad the economy is, or how many of our Constitutional rights have been destroyed.
