As a Republican president, you don’t get to hire just anyone.“

You sure do make a lot of pathetic excuses for Trumps terrible hires.

In most cases, they get dictated from the available pool. People like Mitch enjoy exercising their power.

And there are a lot like Mitch in DC.

“ And there are a lot like Mitch in DC.”

Yes, and instead of recruiting someone to primary Mitch, Trump endorsed him

You have a very short memory and have all your facts mixed up.

Trump shut nothing down. Trump’s guidlines were for 30 days - stay home if you’re sick, NO MANDATES, no shutdowns, no lockdowns. The governors took that and said everyone stay home. Not Trump’s problem.

The biggest decision was to end those 30 days and he did. The governors didn’t want to end it, so not his problem.

Trump didn’t yell at Kemp for opening up. He was talking about the TATTOO PARLORS and disagreed with TATTOO PARLORS opening but said he wouldn’t stop him. We didn’t know what we were dealing with at the time.

Go back over the timelines and you will see in July 2020 Fauci hadn’t talked to Trump in 2 months and CNN said Fauci was basically INVISIBLE and was replaced by Scott Atlas.

And there we have it.

A Purist who doesn't understand politics in the slightest.

Fascinating that such a politically-opinionated person such as yourself only found Free Republic after the 2016 election.

I still recall the bloodbath in the spring of 2016. Perhaps yours was one of the opinionated heads taken...

I’d prefer Trump but would be happy with any smart America First MAGA President with a spine who will stand up to the swamp which includes the GOPe RINO’s. I realize this will take finesse and time; it is politics after all.

Besides undoing all the nastiness of the Biden nonsense a smart move would be to fire all those who are deep state swamp rats that infest DC and beyond. Especially those at or near the top. They must all go. Our government cannot survive if they stay.

All illegals must go home. No exceptions. Those who don’t and get caught cannot ever come back. Those who leave voluntarily can apply for legal immigration but they get in line like anyone else. This must be a top priority. It’s time to put the military on the southern border. We are at war with the cartels.

Just received a large white envelope in the mail made to appear as though it came from Gov. Ron DeSantis. Opened it up, it was from the Republican National Committee wanting our money. Had nothing to do with DeSantis. If you give any money to the Assistant Democrat Party you are crazy. They hate you. We stopped giving money when the Kenyanesian Usurpation got elected by the kindergarteners of America.

He was talking about the tattoo parlors and nail salons.

The president said he told Gov. Brian Kemp “I disagree strongly” with his decision to reopen NAIL salons and TATTOO PARLORS — but he won’t stop him.

NOT THE STATE.

“We had four years of Trump and he spent them hiring swamp creatures who backstabbed him and harmed his supporters.”

In spite of his bad picks, we were recovering nicely. That the MSM inflated the bad picks FAR beyond their importance couldn’t be helped.

Trump put up Fauci out of desperation. His other COVID instincts were disparaged by the Fourth Estate.

I'd be happy with Pompeo/DeSantis for 8 years and then DeSantis/?? for the next 8 years.

I really think Pompeo has the National Experience and DeSantis will be the a** kicker as VP.

Think it would be a good team.

I like DeSantis, and I’ll certainly vote for him if he’s the nominee.. but I don’t think he has the national following yet to pull it off.

If he starts regularly drawing 30-40k crowds at his rallies, maybe I’ll stand corrected - but for now it’s Trump.

As for Trump’s “bad hires”, it’s not his fault there are so many back-stabbing Marxists in government, in the media and in academia - that’s our fault.

We can’t send one good man to DC and expect him to drain the swamp for us - we need to send a thousand good men.

Like it or not...Fauci was going to drive the pandemic.

And we did get partial walls. Blame the Dems...not Trump. I remember Pelosi saying....Not $1 for a wall...Well President Trump busted that dogma.
