Trump’s best role now is that of outside watchdog. Even if the Republicans take over the Senate and House, they will have to have all new leadership to make the changes necessary to save this country. As we have seen in the past, too many Republicans campaign as one thing, and then if elected latch onto the government teat with all their being. The country needs someone outside with the cajones and following to expose what’s really going on and hold those doing it accountable.

If you have a replacement for DeSantis in Florida, I’m all ears..

DESANTIS needs to say put to show the little pups how the BIG DOG Governor runs a state.

Straw polls mean zip away from some kind of headline.

I’m with you on this. I love President Trump and think he was the best President and if he hadn’t had the election stolen from him he would have really come into his own. BUT, I don’t think he should run again. If he does, I will vote for him but I think he can do more good outside the White House than in it.

I don’t think DeSantis plans on running for POTUS.
So if Trump does not run, who do we have? Maybe Paul?

Guarantee the RINOs are hoping the RATs and Jan 6th BS will take Trump out.

They have to figure it will be a plum time for a RINO who sounds less crazy than RAT progressives.

I won’t vote for ANYONE other than Trump. I’m not moving on until things are righted, and a lot of conservatives feel the same way. DeSantis is just another lawyer/politician.

Does being that ignorant take effort, or does it come naturally?

I’d be happy with a Desantis-Trump ticket in 2024.

Indeed two that can do the right things recover America.

[I WON’T vote for anyone other than Trump.}

I totally agree with you. I WON’T accept anything else but the return of our legitimate POTUs PDJT to the White House where he should be right now!

Plus, I’m tired of having DeSantis being forced down my throat. He seems far too much in favor with GOPe factions and is even touted by a sizable array of MSM entities. This piques my suspicions about his allegiances and independence!

I’ve actually recall a mention a while back that DeSantis has at least some contact with Jeb. We definitely don’t need any further Bush influence working against what’s best for our country/world.

Let’s all unite behind getting President Trump back in the Oval Office in 2024.

Maybe, a little more time might allay my deep concerns regarding DeSantis’ character.

You'll be happy with a Trump-Anyone He Damn Well chooses ticket.

Lyin' Ted won in Colorado because of the same bunch of misfits, many of which are Mormon and for some reason don't like Trump.

With Desantis, we’d get a wall and no Fauci.

How do you figure that?

The only way DeSantis gets a wall built is if Trump helps enough MAGA Republicans to get elected to give the GOP a majority that favor doing so.

You're liar if you are trying to imply Trump didn't fight for every inch of the wall that was built. He most certainly did.

We had four years of Trump and he spent them hiring swamp creatures

What steaming pile of horse manure. You're a LIAR.

It was Republicans in the Senate that blocked Trump from selecting his own cabinet. Gee, fancy that, the establishment wing of the party trying to undermine someone that was trying to make real changes.

You're a despicable sack of cat feces.

DeSantis will never come close to having the support or draw the crowds Trump does. He's got the personality of a plotted plant.

I guess you like Wray, Fauci, Barr, Mattis, Esper, Bolton and all the other turkeys Trump appointed or empowered. Sorry if I can’t agree with you

How many people did Trump appoint to top positions and then he turned around and called them “losers”? A lot.

If he spent less time tweeting and more time doing due diligence on potential hires, we would have been a lot better off.

We need a disciplined, focused leader who will put in the hours and energy to actually accomplish the MAGA agenda, not somebody who wastes time tweeting and “monitoring the suituation”. Desantis is showing he has those qualities.

I think from what I’ve read several times, Florida is going to be red for a long time. For years Florida had more registered Dems voters than Reps. But over the past five years or so, Florida has registered a ton of Reps (new residence who are fleeing to FL to avoid heavy taxes and mandates). Now there are many more Reps in FL than Dems, and, by all indications the trend will continue.

“You act like a liberal who loves to “cancel” people.”

I’m criticizing, not cancelling - don’t conflate the two - that’s what liberals do:

If you call a book disgusting, they accuse you of book-burning.
If you criticize a President who happens to be black, they accuse you of racism. If you point out that Hillary Clinton is a murderous criminal, they accuse you of suppressing women.
If you point out the 2020 election was stolen, they accuse you of insurrection.
If you tell them to go pound sand, they accuse you of cancelling.

Don’t be guilty of doing the same thing liberals do.

I guess you don't realize the RINO/establishment Senators teamed with Democrats to stop Trump from making his own appointments. How the hell can't you know that?

The establishments of both parties don't rig elections against someone that isn't a threat to their power. And, that is exactly what happened to Trump and anyone with half a brain knows.

There isn't a politician I've voted, including the first President I had a chance to vote in 1984, Ronald Reagan, that did a better job of keeping his promises than Donald Trump.

There isn't another Republican President that would have put enough justices on SCOTUS to overturn Roe than Trump.

He worked his ass off to get as much of wall built as he could against overwhelming opposition. His economic policies gave us the lowest unemployment rate in 51 years.

If that isn't good enough, you freep yourself. No one ever will be for someone like you even DeSantis gets in someday.

But, Trump will steamroll to the nomination if he runs. DeSantis, wisely, has said he won't run if Trump does.

There is a difference between finishing his term, and running against Trump.

He can have said he intends to complete his term, and not have said he won’t run against Trump

Word play afoot, but we are both correct.
