Russia’s mistreatment of POWs is well known. They are often worked and starved to death.
“Russia’s mistreatment of POWs is well known. They are often worked and starved to death.”
It was ever thus.
Hell, they imprisoned one of Doolittle’s crews after the April, 1942 raid on Japan. The B-25 crash landed in the USSR just north of Vladivostok. The crew were held in captivity for a year before they managed to escape, making it to Iran. We were ALLIES of the USSR at the time!
And yet all the evidence of torture comes from the Ukrainian videos and the Russians are registering the Ukrainian captives with the Red Cross and allow international access to them.
