I doubt if many FReepers would know what this refers to.
Hari Seldon, is the intellectual hero of Isaac Asimov's Foundation series of novels. It is set 10,000 years in the future on a distant planet, Trantor, the capitol planet of our galaxy. In his capacity as mathematics professor at Streeling University on Trantor, Hari Seldon developed psychohistory, allowing him to predict the future in probabilistic terms. His ability to predict disasters is the reason behind his nickname "Raven" Seldon.
A Hari Seldon moment for us would be an event that appears to change the course of history. Did Scotsman have a gut feeling about the insane events that have happened in these three years? Covid-19 happened only four months after his post.
