The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said Friday it had summoned the top diplomat at the US Embassy to object to social media posts on Twitter and Instagram in "support of homosexuality."
On June 1, the embassy posted a picture of an LGBTQ flag, known as the progress flag, and quoted US President Joe Biden, "All human beings should be treated with respect and dignity and should be able to live without fear no matter who they are or whom they love."

Why are the tweets problematic in Kuwait? Kuwait legally bans homosexuality, as do several other Muslim countries.
In the region, the US Embassies in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates also posted messages in support of Pride Month. The holiest sites in Islam, Medina and Mecca, are located in Saudi Arabia.
In February, though, Kuwait's Supreme Court reversed a ban on imitating the opposite gender, a move hailed by Amnesty International as a breakthrough for transgender rights in the Gulf state.

Funny how the “don’t impose U.S. culture on others” types avoid individuality but have no qualms about homosexuality.
It’s a hot race between that and terminal corruption. I’m sure they will work well together to finish us off.
Another example of how the phreaks, phags, and phanatics currently infesting the People’s House are totally tone deaf and arrogant.
It has been known for centuries that the camel jocks do not suffer the kwheer life style in their midst. Yet the current diplomatic corp probably had no idea. That, or it was intentional.
It wasn’t all that long ago when diplomats were expected to be “diplomatic” and respectful of their host countries.
Now, ambassadors go out of their way to antagonize and disrespect other countries on their own soil.
The US has always taken the lead in this world. In a world not ready for democracy we will always push the envelope. Eventually the world comes around. Hopefully it won’t take a Hiroshima to get our point across. The Saudis are ready to recognize Israel with a little ‘help’ from Iran. Our ‘cultural imperiallism’ is not always wrong but it s often right. Taking it up the butt-a bridge too far? We’re still #1 in the world.
It would be awesome if Kuwait told Blinken to remove the entire staff and replace them. They have 2 days.
This very well may be THE ONLY thing I see eye to eye with Muslims on.

Not everyone wants to CELEBRATE PERVERSITY.
It is the official position of every ruling class institution including big corporations. Not just government.
For years our military personnel were not allowed to wear crosses or carry bibles in these countries even when we were protecting their asses during Enduring Freedom because it upset the locals and went against their intolerant religious norms. But now it’s screw their cultural and hoist that pride flag and tweet out your support for perversity.

I walked by the US Embassy here in Warsaw, they were flying the Rainbow Flag. Made me angry. As I passed the embassy I let out a loud “Let’s Go Brandon!”
