Gun stores in Canada have seen handguns fly off the shelves, with many selling out altogether after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced gun control legislation freezing all pistol purchases.
In what appears to be a seismic political misfire, Canadian gun stores have been reporting a massive surge in handgun sales after the country’s leftist prime minister, Justin Trudeau, announced that he would be implementing gun control laws totally freezing the import and sale of this class of firearm.

Trudeau will go for Australian style gun confiscation in the near future, once he realizes how many guns are out there, just make the illegal to possess.
Commonwealth people are subjects, not citizens. They have no 1st (trucker convoy) or 2nd (obvious) and they don’t really have a 5th either.
We should invite Alberta to become the 51st state. Moves like this would make the timing right.

Conclusion: (1) The majority of Canadian people are stupid OR (2) Trudeau is smart enough to know his electorate are anti-pistol OR (3) Canadian elections are fixed.
In light of how many ignorant people we have in our own country (U.S.), I pick #1.

In NY, you had to register pre-SAFE Act MSRs by a certain date. The best estimates are 5-12% compliance. People just ignored it. When I travel back to visit friends, I say hello to a couple LEs I know. One is with the State Police. He said back then that as long as you don’t get charged with domestic violence or threaten someone, why bother registering?
Maybe they need to conduct a revolutionary war, ~250 years after ours, to secure the same rights.

I’m sure it probably would not work, but Trudeau is a totalitarian, he will attempt gun confiscation if he can get away with it politically, when that doesn’t work, he will continue to ratchet up the pressure to take guns out of circulation.
Not saying any of this will work, it is Trudeau’s nature, look at how he handled the truckers.

I was wondering how AR sales are going here in the USA. Now there is a big push for them and everytime I look there is another thread about a mass shooting.
