The court’s rebuke is useless. Gascon needs to be un-elected or forced out of office for failure to prosecute.

Someone smarter than me pointed out “prosecutorial discretion” applies when there isn’t enough evidence to convict, consequently it would be a waste of time and money to take a case to trial.
What these people are doing, is something altogether different.
What the Soros prosecutors are doing is why the appeals court slapped them down: they claim prosecutorial discretion means they can nullify the law. It’s essentially a lawless abuse of authority.

A similar abuse is seen with providing “immunity” in return for testimony, in order to snag higher level crooks.
Democrats just give everyone immunity from prosecution, and call it a day.
