Our local Methodist church will be leaving the UMC soon. They are just deciding which alternate denomination they’re going to join with. I’d go with the Wesleyans, if it were up to me; they’re pretty conservative. There’s also the Global Methodist Church, which is similar to the umc, except not allowing same sex marriage or homosexual ordination.
Go with the most conservative choice; because the way of the world is that it will become more liberal anyway. As for the GMC, they are allowing women pastors, so you would already be halfway down the tube. If there is one near you, go to the
LCMS (Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod — NOT the ELCA, which is totally woke). LCMS does not ordain women, and its sermons are usually explaining the Bible verses and how they still apply to us today. Very solidly family-oriented denomination.
