Go with the most conservative choice; because the way of the world is that it will become more liberal anyway. As for the GMC, they are allowing women pastors, so you would already be halfway down the tube. If there is one near you, go to the LCMS (Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod — NOT the ELCA, which is totally woke). LCMS does not ordain women, and its sermons are usually explaining the Bible verses and how they still apply to us today. Very solidly family-oriented denomination.

The Methodist church in town is very conservative. While I personally do not care for women pastors, I have heard some great teaching by women. The pastor of the church sets the tone; though it’s not good to church hop, you also shouldn’t stay in a particular church if the pastor is a dud, or giving false teaching, among other things. We’re in between churches, and really need a church home. I’ve listened to the local Methodist church, and this pastor is the real deal. I hope he stays. (We don’t have a Lutheran church here. But if I were inclined to go to a Lutheran church, it would have to be a Missouri Synod.)
