I was listening to WNYC, a National Public Radio affiliate in New York City. The station is so left it's a safe assumption that the break room includes a shrine to Joseph Stalin. A host read the opening sentences of a novel that is inspiring swoons of joy from elites. "The men were outside my building: four of them, ruddy, dressed in camouflage shorts. Hooded sweatshirts bulging over their bellies. They were hairy and amphibian-eyed, their skin Styrofoam white, banana-thick fingers waving homemade signs." Wow, I thought. That is hate and that is stereotyping. It goes without saying that WNYC would never so breathlessly celebrate, embrace, and advance a book peddling hate against black men or Asian women or fat people. No. Woke loves its hate, as long as that hate is for the party-approved victim.
The book under discussion was The Atmospherians, by Alex McElroy, a.k.a. Isle McElroy. McElroy identifies as "nonbinary." Online, the words "they/them" immediately follow initial mention of his name. This new convention is a totalitarian attempt to dictate participation in a denial of objective reality. In YouTube videos, (here and here), though he wears a dress, long hair, eye makeup, and lipstick, McElroy exhibits the deep voice and large hands of a movie-star-handsome literary golden boy. He also gives every sign of being just one person; thus, his insistence on "they" denies objective reality.
The Atmospherians, a May, 2021 release by Atria Books, a subdivision of Simon and Schuster, has been praised by The New York Times, the Washington Post, Publishers Weekly, Kirkus, Vanity Fair, Oprah, Esquire, and many bestselling authors. There have to be INSTRUCTIONS on how to hate “white, Christian, heterosexual, American men”?
Who knew? I thought this was a visceral reaction of EVERYBODY who grew in a “disadvantaged” home environment.
Home environments are only “disadvantaged” when there are severe interpersonal problems among the members of the family group. There is no cohesiveness or shared tenderness in such a toxic place, and this only gets projected outward.
When the Republicans controlled the Presidency and the entire Congress but continued to fund PBS and NPR, rational people began to realize that a fundamental change within that weak political party must happen. Unfortunately the Republican Party is the only vehicle that could save the nation. Its simple. If the Democrats are not defeated in the November election, their policies will only worsen and the nation is doomed for certain. There is the potential, not the certainty, that the Republicans with an infusion of no nonsense patriots in their ranks, might do the right thinggs.
Sex in the City was written by gay men too.
It may be hard to overcome institutional inertia.
Today, they literally speak about white men the way the nazis spoke about Jewish people. It comes from numerous quarters.

Until whites, especially us conservatives, realizes that the enemy is within our ranks, we’re just going on a wild goose chase blaming blacks and/or mexicans for our problems.
They are just tools that the white left uses to beat us down with and inundate us with perpetual guilt trips.
We need to wake up and realize that the enemy is one of us and have to find a way to destroy him.
