If I know I'm going to be in an unusually close or crowded condition, I do a test so if I get Covid...I know where it came from. Couldn't be more simple.

Yes. But I think it’s also valuable if you get sick and test positive, then you know. You can just stay away from other people for a while.
(I think false positives come back more often than false negatives, and the latter are mainly associated with the test not being administered properly.)

One thing I noticed during the lockdown was that my appetite was really diminished, and for a long time things just didn’t taste right. (I never contracted Covid and nobody near me did.)
I understood the lack of appetite - I just wasn’t getting normal exercise; but I couldn’t figure out why my taste changed.
Maybe it’s all just lack of activity and upset in normal schedule. A lot of things I’ve always liked still don’t really interest me.

Thursday was basically a blah day with an apparent increase in allergies or the latest Omni Crud.
My wife had similar symptoms on Thursday, and she blamed it on her PT class/session on Wednesday.
Friday was a good day and a good night’s sleep.
When they can get positive tests for the common cold of course. Covid was the best vote fraud tool that they ever had.

We are well into the Summer tourist season for the guest ranches out here-so everyone who got those virus tests in the mail for free decided to sell them rather than use them-so the local flea market has several stalls offering those COVID tests for sale, right beside the packaged herbs, Atkins diet stuff and Weight Watchers sugar-free candy-making a buck off of a non-working test for a non-threatening cold is a great idea...
All the buyers seem to be driving cars/trucks with out-of-state plates, too...
