Yes, the upcoming election will be interesting. The Riksdag is already 47% women, however, so a rational, clear-eyed solution to the nation’s immigrant problem is not likely. The Swedes, by their vote, have shown that this is what they prefer. The same thing is happening here in the U.S., and in every other Western nation for that matter.

What is curious about the open borders crowd in Europe is that they prefer to import non-European people. There are quite a few North Americans of European descent who would like to live and work in Europe, but can’t easily. The issue is not immigration so much as importing cheap labor for menial jobs. Not surprisingly, many of the recent non-European migrants resent being the menial laborers, and Muslims in particular, don’t fit in well in Western society. Their attitudes towards women are particularly incompatible.
