It’s all good, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger was just renominated by the GOP and I’m sure he’s on top of it.

Ratboy got over the 50% line because it was an open primary and 7% of Democrats voted in his race.

OPEN PRIMARIES --- what a great idea!

Let your arch enemies take part in the process to choose your party's nominee. What a joke!

It would be Karma if Ratboy gets beat by the same methods they used against Dems. Bet he would be all over election integrity then -- ordering audits of ballots and machines.

“Political parties are private entities, and they should choose their own candidates in whatever fashion they choose, be that by a survey of their members, caucus elections, on-line voting, or by the leadership choosing a candidate.”

If Republican candidates were not chosen by primaries, Jeb Bush would have been the candidate for president in 2016, not Donald Trump.

The real problem with primaries is cross over voting and “unaffiliated” voters being able to vote in the primary of their choice.

The Rats steal has been perfected....get used to it! We will never have fair elections for our side. McConnell helped the evil rats confirm hundreds of radical leftists judges who will be in the 🐀 pockets for decades. The circle of power and control is almost complete.

‘’ However, Spears noticed that the results showed she received zero votes at most election precincts.

There was an attempted re-scan of the ballots in District 2, but ultimately a hand count was conducted, concluding around midnight on Memorial Day.

On Wednesday evening, the results of the hand count were released, showing former last-place candidate Spears now in first place and headed to a June 21 runoff against Alexander. Former first place candidate Orson was pushed to third place.

Pure fraud

And I respond again, without primaries, Trump and DeSantis probably would have never been on the ballot to begin with.

You’re right there is no law requiring primaries, but eliminating them would have voters across the political spectrum in a major revolt.

Look at Trump’s MAGA agenda, given the disdain the Republican Establishment has for it, that agenda would have never been talked about, primaries allow for alternative ideas to at least get heard by the public.

I don’t know what the requirements are to get on a Democratic or Republican ballot, but they are probably pretty low considering some of the names you see on the ballots, which is how it should be, the more people who run the better in my book.

This debate is pointless, primaries are how things are done and there is little to no chance of them going away.

We must also make everyone play by the same rules…..certain churches in certain neighborhoods have been engaging in politics for a long time without any fear of losing their tax-exempt status. That HAS to stop.

I wish True the Vote would name the NGO’s they elude to in their presentations.

Agreed but I think GOP should have closed primaries in every state.

“the voting machines were off by thousands of ballots”

That’s not a glitch.
That’s a feature!

That’s alot of voters (512K). Consider that the error rate for counting is supposed to be less than 0.05%. The acceptable error rate should be about 260 people. Not thousands. The error rate would have to be close to 1% or about 20X acceptable.

whats that old adage about the difference between a liberal and a Conservative...

The liberal hasn't been “mugged” yet...

I think that may apply to Spears here...lol

I am actually surprised the Dominion issue hasn’t been pressed in Democratic primaries. Warren and Klobuchar among others have been talking about securities vulnerabilities in the software for years.

Correct:

Atlanta, GA is “the Chicago of the South”

Chicago has been machine controlled for 150 years or more.

Why do states even run primary elections? Political parties are private entities, and they should choose their own candidates in whatever fashion they choose, be that by a survey of their members, caucus elections, on-line voting, or by the leadership choosing a candidate.
But governmental resources, equipment, personnel, and real estate should not be used to select a private entity’s political candidates for office.

Somehow, by the late 20th Century, it became an established belief that government should regulate too much social interaction. Parties were forced to allow people to vote in primary elections because of the civil rights movement. The South had been a one party state, and getting the Democratic nomination all but guaranteed victory in November. (LBJ's rigged primary win for the Texas Senate seat comes to mind.)

Once the state got involved, then things like open primaries became acceptable, AND "sore loser" laws that prohibit someone who lost a primary election, perhaps due to crossover voters, from running as an independent. Such laws have also been attempted against a person running as the nominee of a new party. This failed in NC.

“The machines are perfect and cannot be hacked.”

Sarcasm I’m sure but while technically that may be true, the weak spot seems to be the set-up in the precinct. The article mentions someone making a programming mistake that resulted in the miscount.

Of course they’re concerned when there are only Dems in the race.

In truth, he probably IS on top of it, because his own race is on the line. They only care about themselves.
