An Associated Press analysis of early voting records from the data firm L2 found that more than 37,000 people who voted in Georgia’s Democratic primary two years ago cast ballots in last week’s Republican primary, an unusually high number of so-called crossover voters.

This isn’t anything new.
Dems have worked to keep SC Senator Lindsey Graham in office for years. They know a dem won’t win the state so they just try to block true conservatives. You can do this in an open primary state.
The Democrat version of Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos”. They’re getting good at it.
They don’t call the repubs the party of stupid for nothing.
I am a huge Rush Limbaugh fan, but this is what he asked us to do in previous high profile Democratic primaries (2008 crossover against Barak Obama). Perhaps this a bit of Karma working against us.
Why do states even run primary elections? Political parties are private entities, and they should choose their own candidates in whatever fashion they choose, be that by a survey of their members, caucus elections, on-line voting, or by the leadership choosing a candidate.
But governmental resources, equipment, personnel, and real estate should not be used to select a private entity’s political candidates for office.
Of course. If something can be abused to their advantage, depend on democrats to do it to perfection.
What were the Republicans doing under Operation Chaos?
No the Dems did it for years before Rush suggested it. How do you think McCain kept in office?
Following the democrat lead. The Dems have done that for decades.
Are they voting or is it 1000 mules?
The difference as I see it is that the intent is not to pick a candidate who is closer to their views, but the intent is purely to injure President Trump.
That would explain why nearly all Trump endorsed candidates have won.
Chuckle.
Good question.
It says Trump support is so solid in some places that it can’t be overcome. Evidence in some places that the last election was fraudulent.
Nothing new. Has happened in Virginia for decades.
Open primaries are an abomination
Democrats don’t really believe in democracy, the believe in a democratic system they can manipulate so they can always come out on top.
We were too sophisticated. Too ethical. Too well mannered to stoop to their level.
Only a fool could not have seen where our complacency/sloth would lead.
It’s not working very well since the Trump guys keep winning. And it under estimates the support they will get in the general
We are the “nice guys”, and nice guys finish last.
