President Biden stated that the Second Amendment is “not absolute,” then segued into a gun control push that included at least eight different gun law proposals.

Here are a list of Biden’s proposed gun controls:

Ban “Assault Weapons” Ban ‘high capacity” magazines. If banning is not possible, then raise purchase age for AR-15s and similar rifles to 21 “Strengthen background checks” “Enact [a] safe storage law” “red flag law” “Repeal the immunity of gun manufacturers from liability.” Address the mental health crisis Biden elaborated on the “assault weapons” ban proposal, saying that the previous ban (1994-2004) specifically banned “nine categories of semiautomatic weapons, like AK-47s and AR-15s.”

He added, “We should limit how many rounds a weapon can hold? Why in God’s name should an ordinary citizen be able to purchase an ‘assault weapon’ that holds 30 rounds magazines that let mass shooters fire hundreds of bullets in a matter of minutes?”

Raise the age to buy a gun to 21.

Fine, raise the age to vote to 21.

Voting is way more dangerous than being able to buy a gun!

This is more about trying to fire up the radical left base for November than getting anything passed. He knows he’ll even lose democrats like Manchin and Sinema with talk of gun bans. But he wants an issue to run on, not any legislation passed...

Without a doubt, he is the stupidest man ever to hold the office of president. His stupidity and ignorance are breathtaking.

I think people should be able to sue politicians. Not kidding. They made the laws, let them defend them.

I would add, raise the age to register for the draft or serve in the military to 21, if you are not responsible enough at 18 to even touch a gun (according to democrats) then you certainly don't need to be fighting for your country.

Love or hate obsession with inanimate objects is idolatry. All obsession with inanimate objects is worshiping an idol.

I believe there is a Republican supported measure to IMPROVE background checks since so many people seem to slip thru the cracks. I’d support that. I’d support a ban on body armor. Not used in this case but I’m a bit murky on why private individuals need body armor. I could handle raising the age for gun buying to 21, given the infantilization of American youth to the point a 15 year old in the 40s was vastly more responsible than many 30 year olds are now.

I’d like to see serious mental health problems and convictions as a youth show up in background checks. I also don’t see a huge need for 30 round magazines - and yes, I know that just means someone needs to carry more, but every time a shooter switches magazines it gives his victims an opening to fight back.

And yes, I do support concealed carry without a license. I used to have a license and now carry regularly without one in Arizona. But improved background checks to stop at least a FEW of the nuts wouldn’t bother me.

Can we also take away the explicit immunity that drug companies exploit. Not to mention the implicit immunity Democrats enjoy. Where’s the indictment for Hunter’s illegally disposed of gun.

The Brady background system failed because it did not know the murderer was a nutcase.

Focus on the problem and do not overreach.

There is no reason to sue a gun maker unless its gun is defective.

Wut???

Not everyone lives in Candyland. There are a lot of civilians who wear body armor, and not just EMTs, tow truck drivers, and food delivery workers in bad neighborhoods.

V. Putin would be happy to sell weapons to those that hate the man giving deadly weapons to kill Russians 18 years old and up.

What goes around comes around.

Raising the purchase age to 21: isn’t this the same group of morons who were pushing to lower the voting age to 16 a couple of years ago?
