Wow, I can see CA going ahead with such legislation. In that case, CA would very soon be a majority black population. If I were black I’d move there in a NY minute. And all other races of people would leave due to systemic racism that transferred their wealth to another person based entirely on appearance. Business would flee, even black owned. And the mega businesses would be left to shoulder the burden of “reparations” and soon they’d leave as well. CRASH! I hope like hell they do it. It would mean and entire voting block (blacks) would be in one state which would also limit their voting effectiveness. Wow, that’s a Republican dream come true. lol

California never was a slave state and it was on the side of the Union during the Civil War. It’s present residents and taxpayers have no obligation to pay guilt money to people of African-American descent for the mistreatment of Blacks during slavery in the South, nor for mistreatment of Blacks during reconstruction.
It is time to dig up the corpses of slave-holders, tax them for reparations, and leave the rest of us the &^%$ alone!
