Four people were killed Wednesday in a shooting at a Tulsa medical building on a hospital campus, a police captain said.
Tulsa Police Department Deputy Chief Eric Dalgleish confirmed the number of dead and said the shooter also was dead, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
It was unclear what prompted the deadly assault. However, the unidentified gunman carried both a handgun and a rifle during the attack, Dalgleish said.

Not sure about this particular hospital, but some have moved to metal detectors. Security theater is all it really is. At the ballpark, for a larger example, hundreds of people are bunched up outside as they make their way through the detectors. A gunman could have a field day with the dense crowd outside.
Not to mention the criminals know everyone coming out of the ballpark is unarmed after the game. It makes no logical sense to go anymore.
I agree. That whole TSA circus is a good example. Surprised that Arab Terrorists have not done that here. Two really dedicated Terrorists could slaughter 200 People easily,especially in those guns hating Blue States. In Louisiana, I think that in any crowd of white people, there will several gun-toters, and more in a crowd of Blacks.

Don’t be so sure about that. They’ll spin it so that it’s those evil inanimate objects, the guns, that did the deed and are responsible.
The hospital and all of its associated clinics/physician office buildings are Gun-Free Zones (GFZ). They are all posted on all entrances. Another poster mentioned scanners/magnetometers at entries and I’m unsure of that as it’s been a few years since I’ve been in one of those buildings.
BTW, this happened in the building where my wife’s cousin was scheduled for an outpatient surgery tomorrow which has now been canceled.
I’m waiting for the ME report saying all the victims died from having their lungs shot completely out of their bodies by that 9mm handgun.
