This leads to an interesting - though very unlikely - hypothetical. Poland takes western Ukraine, maybe after a sham plebiscite. A few years later what’s left of Ukraine attacks Poland to get their land back.

Does NATO come to Poland’s defense? Or would the West just be content to sell arms to both sides?

The Deep State has been content to sell arms to both sides going back to at least WW-2. Heck, arms is just part of the package, the DS finances both sides, probably going back to CW-1.

So, whether ‘NATO’ comes to Poland’s defense is just a cover story for the MSM to spit out. The bottom line is financing and arming. One entity does it - the DS, and they will parse it out to fit the narrative at that point in time.

Poland is a part of NATO, but NATO countries might, in feigning humanitarianism, 'justice (Just Us)' and the 'rule of law', vote Poland out, if Poland seized part of Ukraine. These countries would then be free to sell arms to both, as would Russia Communist China, and Israel, among others.

We live in a democracy an hypocrisy.
