A Russian official on Tuesday claimed that Poland is planning to take Ukrainian territory.
Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, a key ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, said during a press conference that he believes Poland plans to annex parts of western Ukraine, according to Russian news agency Interfax.
He said he believes that "already a number of states are actively working on [Ukraine's] dismemberment," though he did not specify which countries. Nearly every other European country has backed Ukraine amid the invasion, many offering military and humanitarian aid.

There are no eternal borders in that part of the world. A good reason to stay out. Or at the very least not plunge in.
This is the culmination of bi-partisan US foreign policy since the end of the Cold War. So certainly blame the current administration for what they are doing, but it started in the 1990s. Even Trump did not halt NATO expansion, though he did gum up some of the Ukrainian shenanigans.
What has happened is that the Poles and Ukrainians have almost completely set aside their own grievances to focus on Russia. The Poles are actually drawing down their own army's stocks to arm Ukraine with tanks, IFVs and self-propelled artillery.
There’s zero interest in Poland for taking any part of Ukraine.
You must believe everything Biden saya tpo.
If Russia sets one foot in Poland, there is a war.
What they don't remember is how Poland joined Hitler in seizing part of Czechoslovakia in 1938.
Poland recognizes the implications of allowing Russia to take Ukraine.
That’s why they are the second largest arms provider to Ukraine after the USA.
The Brits and French drew that line. The Poles never accepted it, and in January 1919 the Polish parliament sent ultimatums to Lithuania and the Bolshevik government demanding restoration of Poland's pre-partition 1772 borders, for which they then fought.
The area in question had been contested since 1918 and with Germany occupying Czechoslovakia, there was no way Poland was going to allow Germany to take it.
Over the last 800 years, for 600 of it the majority of Ukraine belonged to Poland.
UHhh…you really think Poland is going to go to war to take a piece of Ukraine? Do you think the rest of NATO will join them in dissecting Ukraine? Because some Russian says so, with the likely purpose of establishing a pretext for possible hostilities against Poland?
Really.
This is for domestic consumption. To the Russian people, “Nazi” doesn’t signify an ideology, it signifies anyone who is anti Russian.
A reasonable and just resolution of this problem would begin by recognizing that the “sacred borders of Ukraine”, at least in the West, were put in place by Stalin seizing territory from Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary in 1945.
These territories should be granted independence, and should be free to join the EU.
Ukraine never was a real country anyways.
“I think of the Russian-stated ‘de-nazification’ as code words for ‘de-deepState-cabal-ification’.”
No, it simply means “re-Sovietization”.
“De-nazification”=Communism.
At least someone has a sense of history.
BTW..Feb 1st of this year the Poles passed a law banning the Bandera ideology and any groups thereof.
The Ukraine went nuts over it.
I suppose if Poland were to even the score, that means about 100 thousand from The Ukraine have to GO.
I will be with Poland on this one.
Can you be more ignorant? Poland was partitioned by Nazi Germany and the your beloved USSR at the start of WWII.
A lot of the replies here are all over the map. I don't think any reply is out of line... replies diverge and differ each with some truth applicable, perhaps some time in the not distant future the lies of our entire lives, essentially, will be revealed, and we'll see and then know the 'forest' of WW-2, instead of a few trees here and there.
None of our business.
