Glock should offer that they will place a disclaimer of the product and its advertising that Glock Firearms are not to be used on subways except for self-defense.

Isn’t a human being that publicly declares themself to be a “woman” in and of itself “a public nuisance”??

Wish I’d thought of this angle back when Jordache Jeans billbroads were ubiquitous.

If Glock can be sued for this then Ford/Toyota/Honda/VW can be sued for drunk driving deaths.

Or, we allow carry of UZIs on the subway...so they are not hidden

Their newly manufactured products are only sold with federal government permission. It’s not up to Glock who gets them.

Why doesn't anyone sue detroit when there's a mass killing on the highway or someone drives into a parade?

Also, you can bet she ain’t “behind” the suit. Probably a napoleon bloomberg attorney fishing expedition. Any ads in the ‘nyt’ seeking “victims”? 😕

Or high-speed crashes. Who needs a vehicle that can go over 70mph?

The lady should be suing the mayor. But I guess that wouldn’t be politically correct. So go after Glock instead.
And maybe she should also sue the company that made those subway cars. The cars are obviously unsafe.

Knife manufacturers, hammers, cars, democrat controlled cities, etc. Perhaps sue God, if you don’t like the way He runs things. After all, he put an expiration date on us, so perhaps he should be sued because this woman won’t live forever. Perhaps she should replace God herself (itself, or whatever)..

It’s a little different. They are trying a camel’s nose strategy probably inspired by tobacco lawsuits. If they can’t make firearms illegal they want to make them unprofitable so they kill the market. I don’t see why Glock would have a fiduciary responsibility for some of these claims or care about putting constraints on the secondary market. They’re in the business of making money and it’s against their reason to exist to try to stop people from lawfully buying their product.
That said… Southern District of New York. It’s like tech patent trolls flocking to Southern District of Texas. Or trying to prosecute Sussman in DC metro. The outcome is preordained.

Nope. Gun makers have no liability.
