How do average Canadians feel about banning side arms? Ok with it? Will people decide to ignore the ban?
I have spoken with two Canadian expats, and they said that they just ignored the registration, kept their rifles and don’t talk about it.
Trudeau is by executive fiat banning the sale of handguns, transfer of ownership of handguns and the gifting of handguns. Any transfer is banned. The amount of ammo one can possess will be limited. A year ago Trudeau banned the use and sale of a list of 170 rifles including the AR-15, AK-47, Ruger mini 14, and the Ljungman AG-42 Swedish WWII rifle among others.
And they are asking for a budget for a mandatory buy back of those rifles, they SET the price.Thats the plan.
The retail firearms industry in Canada is being ruined.
The effect of this will be devastating.(sarc.)
People will still be buying hand guns. They will be purchased in the USA and smuggled across the border into Canada. Nothing short of building a border wall would stop such traffic in hand guns. All Trudeau is doing is creating an illegal arms trade between Canada and the USA.That illegal trade will include ammo. Lots of it. And there will be large illegal traffic of arms from China into Canada as well. CHina sends drugs and they will also send guns to the gangs that sell China,s drugs.
All this because Trudeau wants to disarm law abiding citizens.
