During an interview on MSNBC on Tuesday, Rep. Colin Allred (D-TX) stated that the appropriate model to look at with gun regulations is “how we’ve approached car safety over the years, to progressively find ways to make cars more safe on the road, whether that’s seat belts or speed limits, or moving forward with more safe technology in the vehicles themselves.” And that “Nobody’s talking about taking away your cars. They are saying though, that you can’t drive an F1 around, you can’t go certain speeds, you can’t do certain things because it’s dangerous.”

Most of the utility of a gun is the fact that it is dangerous. So it is impossible to make a gun that is both “safe” and useful.
Oh - and don’t forget about that “shall not be infringed” thing, either.

As I pointed out on another thread - Commie fags like Colin Allred expect the 78 Minute donut munchers to gun you down if you don’t turn in your guns.
It could start with simple things, like a test you have to pass in order to get a voter ID card. Or some simple standards for anything published by a Democrat.
I doubt it.
Democrats should be forced to explain why restricting the rights of Americans is their goal, and every time they bring up another scheme to infringe on the 2nd Amendment rights of Americans they should be forced to confront how wrong it is to attack any of the rights Americans have under our Constitution.
They already did... converted our automobile property to ‘motor-vehicles’.
