Yea, the DOJ's on it. The world's most trustworthy organization. What could go wrong?
I love it when the Derp State investigates the Derp State.

This DOJ?
Ok
Still I can picture Abbott, Chief Brody-like, pushing these papers to this Mayor saying ‘you’re gonna sign this. The people think you’re the mayor of mass child murder city’

Why would Biden’s DOJ care about a botched police response? They are always poised to sue local police for any use of force, and much of the Democrat base doesn’t think we should have police at all.
To: RandFan
Gee, I hope they are not taking resources away from tracking down those rebellious parents that challenged school boards’ diversity and inclusion policies.
To: RandFan
I would support that if the DOJ was trustworthy but they’re more likely to conclude the debacle was Trump’s fault. And I am not kidding.

We need to tell the DOJ AND Congress to most of the time wait, step back, watch and see what are the actions at the state and local level, before making a “federal” case of everything. MOST of the time no federal case is needed and the extra layer of authorities involved is unnecessary to a proper resolution.

They’ve probably got to make sure their tracks are totally covered.
Right now, they’re not, and a lot of people are asking “questions”.
