"People who want to slaughter children" will not be deterred by gun control legislation because they will not be "mindful of a law," radio host Mark Levin argued Thursday on “The Mark Levin Show.”
Levin observed that individuals determined to commit these crimes will be able to find ways to obtain weapons even with stricter gun control laws.
"We’re going to pass a law. So what? Do you think people who want to slaughter children are going to be mindful of a law? Does anybody know that murder is a capital crime -- you can face the death sentence in Texas? One murder, let alone 21.”

The only problem more laws fix is if there’s not enough employment opportunities for lawyers.
Not bloody likely.
Indeed so. Ample proof is provided in the prime dictum of the left/DemocRAT/associated co-slime: “Our only standard is a double one.”
I fear that this will sooner or later come to you-know-what.
Of course not, with the modern cultural rot.
“Levin observed that individuals determined to commit these crimes will be able to find ways to obtain weapons even with stricter gun control laws.”
By using the black market.
I, my own self, am more fearful of those in position of authority who stand around waiting for orders while children are being slaughtered than I am of the psycho criminal.
I’ll take my chances against him and Lord willing I can take him.
The gear queer cops, awaiting an order while kids are being killed are another matter. Once they get an order, no matter how irrational it is, they will follow it.
Why will they follow an irrational order? Because there’s nothing more irrational than tasing and handcuffing adults who kids are being murdered in real time.
These are the guys who will be coming for you and me for owning, speaking, or eating the wrong thing.
Laws are a dime a dozen.
Criminals believe that laws were meant to be broken or ignored.
Laws come into view after the crimes have been committed.
Laws don’t deter criminals, but, guns owned by law-abiding citizens do. Take the guns from the law-abiding citizens, and only the law-breaking and law-ignoring criminals will have them. The criminals will be the ones in control, and even law-enforcement won’t be able to stop them, and in fact, law-enforcement will just be a joke.
Mark, the ruling party in Congress is USING LAW to support slaughtering children in the womb. Don’t ignore their hypocrisy.
Mark, you are missing the point. The Left (aka, globalist progressive Democrats) want to do horrible things to us and want to eliminate fighting back.
When the authorities in the blue city hellholes just ignore illegal gun purchases from the trunks of scores of cars, laws don’t matter a “flying rat’s rearend” (Rush’s phrase).
Glad to hear Mark say that publicly.
BINGO!
They don’t need a gun — just an SUV and a local Christmas parade.....
Mental health services, and prison systems are the first agencies that Democrats historically defund. They choose to close psych centers and prisons, and toss residents, and inmates back onto the streets. And these days, Democrats aren’t interested in locking people up for their crimes. By releasing perps, even violent ones, within hours of their arrests, they keep the jail and prison populations down, and they then claim that crime has actually gone down.
eeyup!
That sure faded into the rear view eh?
Maybe the law of gravity.
Levin is right, of course.
Now here’s the thing. We are fortunate in that America actually did an experiment in this regard. Alcohol abuse can be a serious problem. So back in 1920 the United States instituted Prohibition.
The possession of alcohol became illegal. But folks who really wanted booze still got all the booze they wanted. Would a gun prohibition be any different? No, it would not.
The gunman in the Uvalde school did get the death sentence. No judge, no jury, no defense lawyer, and no appeal.
Just a savage mad dog.
But the consequences will reverberate through the whole community for years to come, and incredulity that this was ever allowed to happen will eventually fade, until something similar happens again.
