Part of that has been—and still is—being driven by the Left, the DNCMedia and the Judiciary system.
First of all, the Left HATES the police. Whether it’s just the useful idiots who believe, as Lebron James actually said “Sometimes I wonder when a police officer leaves his house saying that today is going to be the end for one of these Black people” or actual criminals who don’t like the fact that committing crimes could get you arrested by the police to the BLM grifters race baiting for cash, the Left really does hate the police.
Secondly, the DNCMedia LOVE to second guess EVERYONE and spend hours on useless speculation on what went down when their grasp of the facts is usually less than the average person. For example, try explaining to them what an “assault weapon” is versus is NOT. In any case, if it bleeds it leads is the mantra for them. And if that bleeding can be blamed on the Right and/or racism, why jump right in, facts be damned!
Finally, the Judicial system is very afraid of the Leftist mob and will go out of their way to avoid a Los Angeles 1992 race riot when the cops who beat a PCP-enraged Rodney King until he submitted where acquitted of police brutality. They would have got less grief if they just shot him. Regardless of this, the judges will throw a police officer’s rights out the window to placate the mob.
So why would anyone in this climate want to be a police officer, when any quick decisive action might well get you fired, charged and even jailed?
I wouldn’t.
Ironically,it seems F.Chuck Schumer had legislation ready to go right after the Texas shooting,quite the coindence?
Rumour has it that the Uvalde Chief of Police —who resisted an aggressive surge—supported Obama.
....which would point to his logic and decision making skills. Weak.
