I did not even know Lutherans have bishops
. Seems rather Popish to me.

Lutherans have bishops. Episcopalians have bishops. So do Methodists. And yes, the orthodox have bishops. Sorry you had to find out this way.

“Bishop” (επίσκοπος) is found in the New Testament Pastoral Epistles from Paul to Timothy.

Simply put: Bishops are Biblical.

The communities without such oversight have a lot of explaining to do.
