You have no idea what you are talking about. The VC ceased to exist as an effective fighting force in 1968, as they were clobbered during the Tet Offensive. The VC never recovered from that, and were pretty much out of the war afterwards.

Let me go through the trouble to explain MAIN POINT of my post. It was NOT which group of North Vietnam ran the mightiest superpower of the era out of south Vietnam. I still remember Americans remaining south Vietnam using helicopters to escape from roof tops.
The MAIN POINT I was making is that even the mighty superpower could not defeat the enemy using guerilla tactics.
In context of Ukraine, the Ukrainians are also utilizing guerilla tactics. There are no battles between army of Ukraine confronting army of Russia.
