“I’ve been getting sharper and sharper for a few years now. Short and long term memories never better. “

Doesn’t the science strongly indicate the opposite effect?

Drunks think they perform better at driving. In my early twenties one of my best work league softball games was after going to the local bar after work and then playing a doubleheader. The team manager knew I had spent about an hour at the bar so benched me for the first half of game 1. I went 6 for 6. Why? The beers knocked off the normal tension. I always played better pool at bars after a few drinks for the same reason.

Some, but not much science on the topic. Sure could be mentally addling, certainly for some, imo. I don't attribute my healthy mental clarity to the pot. Maybe, I don't think so. All in all my assumption is pot is a health negative.

But for the past few years looking at math problems.. it's like a rain man thing happens. My vocabulary is more available. When I forget why I entered a room I can overcome that blank brain feeling and bring my purpose to mind pretty quick. I easily can find lost stuff by deduction.

I'm not saying I'm some Brainiac, far from it. Probably the bright glow before the bulb burns out, lol.

Interesting about your skills after a few. (I quit at 30 yo.) People are different but it seems everyone has an inclination to alter their consciousness. That's why little kids spin around to get dizzy, I guess.
